Bupati Cirebon Drs. H. Sunjaya Purwadisastra, MM. M.Si secara resmi menutup kegiatan Seleksi Tilawatil Qur’an (STQ) pada Sabtu malam (06/12/2014).
Kegiatan ini telah sukses dilaksanakan meskipun cuaca diguyur hujan. Hal ini disampaikan oleh Ketua Penyelenggara Drs. H. Masykur, M.Pd.
Ada 9 cabang yang telah dilombakan dan perlombaan ini berlangsung sangat kompetitif.
H. Masykur mengatakan tujuan STQ ini adalah untuk mempersiapkan Qari dan Qori’ah, Hafidz dan Hafidzah serta Mufasir dan Mufasiroh yang akan mewakili Kabupaten Cirebon pada STQ ke-14 tingkat Provinsi Jawa Barat yang akan dilaksanakan di Bekasi Tahun 2015.
Kami Pengurus LPTQ Kabupaten Cirebon bersama para Dewan Hakim, para peserta terbaik di semua cabang atau golongan serta dukungan dan doa semua pihak siap mengemban tugas yang di amanahkan oleh Bupati Cirebon.
Sebagai Juara Umum STQ 2014 diraih oleh Kecamatan Plumbon dengan jumlah skor 19. Sementara juara kedua diraih Kecamatan Dukupuntang dengan skor 17 dan Juara Ketiga diraih oleh Kecamatan Plered dengan skor 16. Sedangkan dalam lomba Pawai Ta’aruf juara pertama dimenangkan oleh Kecamatan Klangenan dengan nilai 258, disusul juara kedua diraih oleh Kecamatan Sumber dengan nilai 256 dan juara ketiga diraih Kecamatan Karangsembung dengan nilai 255.
Dalam sambutannya, Bupati Cirebon mengatakan Kegiatan STQ tidak semata-mata untuk berlatih dan bertanding membaca Alqur’an saja tetapi substansinya adalah bagaimana kita mencintai dan menjaga kesucian Alqur’an diikuti dengan pengamalan nilai-nilai yang terkandung didalamya. Untuk itu mari mengembalikan niat awal kita dalam mempelajari Alqur’an yaitu mencari ridho Allah SWT dengan penuh keiklasan.
STQ tahun ini kita harapkan menjadi kesempatan terbaik untuk melakukan kaderisasikan tunas tunas baru karena bagaimanapun usia manuisia akan terus bertambah, sehingga kita harus ada generasi Qori-Qoriah, Hafidz-Hafidzah, Mufasir-Mufasiroh yang handal dan akan menggantikan mereka yang senior dan bagi umat Islam menjadi suatu momen yang pas untuk melakukan refleksi terhadap tugas spiritual dan kemanusiaan yang telah dilakukan termasuk bagaimana meningkatkan pengabdian di tengah keluarga, bangsa dan negara.
Bupati Cirebon mengingatkan bahwa dengan berakhirnya STQ ini bukan berhenti untuk mempelajari Alqu’an, namun harus memacu diri dengan meneladani dan mencontoh teman, para senior, para guru yang pernah berprestasi di tingkat provinsi, nasional bahkan internasional. Prestasi yang diraih karena mereka tidak lekas berpuas diri dan tidak berputus asa.
Bupati Cirebon menyampaikan beberapa hal sebagai motivasi. Bupati mengucapkan selamat kepada Qari dan Qari’ah, Hafidz dan Hafidzah, Mufasir dan Mufasiroh yang berhasil meraih gelar juara STQ kali ini, semoga prestasi yang diraih dapat semakin memotivasi untuk lebih giat berlatih sehingga mampu menorehkan perstasi pada ivent yang lebih tinggi dan mampu mengharumkan nama Kabupaten Cirebon.
Sementara untuk peserta yang belum berhasil meraih prestasi untuk tidak berkecil hati, kegagalan saat ini hendaknya menjadi penyemangat untuk lebih giat berlatih, sehingga pada ivent-ivent STQ yang akan datang akan meraih prestasi yang membanggakan.
Pada acara penutupan tersebut, Bupati Cirebon didampingi Ibu menyerahkan piala dan piagam kepada sejumlah pemenang STQ yang berlangsung di Asrama Haji Watubelah Kecamatan Sumber.
Hadir dalam penutupan STQ tersebut Kepala OPD/Camat se-Kabupaten Cirebon, Muspida Kabupaten Cirebon, para perwakilan kafilah perwakilan kecamtan, tokoh agama dan masyarakat serta undangan lainnya. (Bens/sahidin,Diskominfo)
