Setelah lolos seleksi administrasi, maka seluruh Calon Dewan Pengawas Lembaga Penyiaran Publik Lokal (LPPL) Radio Rangggajati yang diikuti oleh 12 (dua belas) orang dinyatakan berhak mengikuti tes tertulis dan wawancara yang dilaksankan pada tanggal 18 Desember 2014 bertempat di gedung SMAN 1 Sumber. Kegiatan tersebut dimaksudkan untuk menyeleksi Calon Dewan Pengawas (LPPL) Radio Ranggajati yang berkompeten dan berkualitas sehingga akan membawa dampak positif bagi LPPL tersebut, dari 12 (dua belas)peserta yang terdiri dari Unsur Pemerintah 1 (satu orang), Unsur Masyarakat 7 (tujuh) orang dan Unsur Penyiaran 4 (empat) orang akan meloloskan 6 (orang) yang akan dilaporkan terlebih dahulu kepada Bupati, lalu disampaikan ke DPRD Kabupaten Cirebon untuk diadakan fit & proper test dan akan mengerucut menjadi 3 (tiga) orang yang terdiri dari Unsur Pemerintah 1 (satu), Unsur Masyarakat 1(satu orang) dan Unsur Penyiaran 1 (orang) untuk menjadi dewan pengawas LPPL Radio Ranggajati. Hadir pada kesempatan tersebut Drs. H. Kalinga, MM., Kepala BKPPD Kabupaten Cirebon yang juga Ketua Panitia Seleksi, Drs. H. Hartono, MM., Kepala Diskominfo Kabupaten Cirebon selaku Sekretaris dan anggota Tim Seleksi dari Akademisi.
Kepala Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Kabupaten Cirebon mengatakan Seleksi Calon Dewan Pengawas LPPL Radio Ranggajati dilaksanakan melalui beberapa tahapan, yang dimulai dengan pengumuman pendaftaran seleksi Calon Dewan Pengawas melalui media massa, kemudian seleksi administrasi dan dari jumlah pendaftar setelah melalui seleksi administrasi ada 12 (dua belas) orang yang berhak melangkah ke tahap berikutnya. Dewan Pengawas LPPL Radio Ranggajati bertugas untuk mengawasi, mengarahkan serta memberi support kepada Dewan Direksi dalam memajukan LPPL Radio Ranggajati. Selain itu, Dewan Pengawas terpilih berhak untuk mengangkat, memberhentikan Dewan Direksi serta lainnya. Untuk itu diharapkan yang terpilih nanti adalah orang-orang pilihan yang mempunyai kompetensi dan berkualitas.
Sementara itu anggota Tim Seleksi, Ahmad Yusron, S.Sos., M.Si., memaparkan seleksi Dewan Pengawas LPPL Radio Ranggajati khususnya pada saat tes tertulis dan wawancara kami akan bekerja secara optimal baik dari segi materi tertulis maupun dari materi wawancara. Ini kami maksudkan agar nanti yang terpilih menjadi Dewan Pengawas di LPPL Radio Ranggajati merupakan hasil seleksi yang obyektif. (Fa’iz & Edy’s Diskominfo)
