Kunjungan Menteri Yohana ke Cirebon

2Minggu, 22 Februari 2015 Menteri Yohana Yembise berkunjung ke Cirebon dalam rangka kunjungan kerja, Ibu Menteri Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak (PPA), mengaku sudah sering mendengar nama Cirebon. Cirebon pun begitu terkenal di kampung halamannya, Papua serta Cirebon juga terkenal di luar negeri.

“Saya tidak percaya bisa tiba-tiba di Cirebon. Cirebon itu sangat terkenal di Papua. Saya pikir kalau tidak jadi menteri, saya belum tentu di sini,” kata Yohana Yembise yang pada kesempatan siang tadi mengenakan batik merah pula sama seperti Bupati dan istrinya.

Yohana juga mengaku senang bisa menikmati kuliner khas Cirebon secara kebetulan begitu tiba di pendopo, menteri dan rombongan dijamu makanan khas tradisional Cirebon seperti nasi jamblang, tahu gejrot, dan empal gentong.

Perempuan asli Pulau Biak, Papua, itu pun memuji Bapak Bupati karena beliau tanpa rasa lelah dan mengabdikan dirinya bagi Kabupaten Cirebon dengan motto sesuai dengan yang diucapkan Bapak Presiden kita Jokowi Dodo yaitu kerja, kerja, kerja. Sosok inilah yang dicari bagi keberlangsungan perkembangan potensi daerah khususnya di Kabupaten Cirebon.

Acara tersebut diakhiri dengan pemberian bantuan dari menteri Yohana kepada DKM masjid Agung Sumber dan anak yatim piatu. (edys n faiz Minggu, 22, Februari 2015)
