Sekretaris Daerah Kabupaten Cirebon, Drs. H. Dudung Mulyana M.Si, membuka pelatihan kewirausahaan dan pengembangan desain batik bertempat di Hotel Victory, Senin, 25 Februari 2013 dengan mendatangkan pemateri khususnya dari Balai Besar Kerajinan dan Batik Indonesia yang berpusat di Yogyakarta.
Sejalan dengan amanat Undang-Undang No. 20 Tahun 2008 tentang usaha mikro kecil dan menengah dimana UMKM adalah salah satu pilar utama ekonomi nasional sehingga “Pemerintah berkewajiban untuk menciptakan kondisi yang dinamis, dan memberikan dukungan serta perlindungan dan pengembangan seluas-luasnya dalam berwirausaha.
Mewakili Bupati Cirebon, Sekretaris Daerah Kabupaten Cirebon, Drs. H. Dudung Mulyana, M.Si mengatakan Pemerintah Daerah memberikan dukungan dengan melaksanakan kegiatan pelatihan berbagai jenis kewirausahaan yang diantaranya kewirausahaan pengembangan desain batik, hal ini didasari karena produk batik merupakan salah satu produk unggulan Kabupaten Cirebon.
Sekretaris Daerah juga mengungkapkan saat ini terasa semakin banyak persaingan dalam dunia usaha, khususnya dibidang pembatikan, untuk itu untuk menjawab persaingan tersebut para usaha mikro, kecil dan menengah selain melestaikan batik Cirebon juga wajib untuk mendapatkan peningkatan pengetahuan baik dari segi manajerial, administrasi, ataupun menjalin kerjasama dengan pihak yang berkompeten.
Pelatihan ini secara umum bertujuan :
1. Memperkuat jiwa kewirausahaan
2. Memiliki keterampilan menyusun perencanaan sesuai pilihan jenis usaha yang dikembangkan
3. Meningkatkan pengetahuan sumber daya manusia, dengan peningkatan pengetahuan dalam bidang administrasi, manajemen usaha serta memperkenalkan dengan teknologi baru
4. Peningkatan jaringan sumber daya jaringan financial dengan fasilitasi pembiayaan baik melalui Pemerintah Daerah, perbankan ataupun BUMN.
“Pelatihan ini diharapkan untuk dapat menyamakan persepsi dan menyamakan persepsi dan mencari solusi terbaik dalam peningkatan kewirausahaan dan pengembangan desain yang sesuai dengan perkembangan”, tuturnya.
