Sekda Buka Sosialisasi Membangun Kemandirian Pangan Melalui Pemanfaatan Pekarangan

Pada Rabu, 20 Februari 2013 telah diadakan sosialisasi membangun kemandirian pangan melalui pemanfaatan pekarangan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan oleh bagian PSDA Setda Kabupaten Cirebon dalam rangka peningkatan pengetahuan serta keterampilan tim penggerak PKK Desa dan Kecamatan dalam pelaksanaan tugasnya sehari-hari .

Pada acara tersebut dibagi dalam beberapa tahap yang setiap tahapnya diikuti oleh 50 kader PKK Desa dan Kecamatan serta dihadiri oleh bagian PSDA beserta jajarannya dan kader PKK Desa dan kader PKK Kecamatan.

Pada kesempatan tersebut ketua penyelenggara dalam laporannya mengatakan kegiatan ini merupakan tindak lanjut dari pembinaan tim penggerak desa yang mana mempunyai tujuan agar kaum wanita  di Kabupaten Cirebon dapat berperan aktif dalam kegiatan yang sarat akan fungsi yang baik dan menunjang kemajuan hidup kaum wanita beserta keluarganya dan dapat pula meningkatkan produksifitasnya sehingga membantu penghidupan bagi perekonomian dan taraf hidup keluarganya.

Sekretaris Daerah Kabupaten Cirebon, Drs. Dudung Mulyana, M.Si pada kesempatan tersebut mengatakan ada beberapa manfaat dari pekarangan rumah, apabila kita tata dengan baik maka pekarangan rumah kita akan terlihat lebih asri dan indah selain itu pun dari tanaman yang ada di pekarangan kita tersebut dapat diambil manfaatnya baik untuk keperluan keluarga juga dapat dimanfaatkan untuk menambah penghasilan keluarga.

Acara ditutup dengan ramah tamah dan dialog interaktif dengan para pengurus dan para undangan.
