Potensi Sindanglaut yang begitu luar biasa dan ramai di bidang perdagangan menjadikan Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) Kantor Kas Sindanglaut hadir untuk mendekatkan diri dengan nasabahnya. Hal ini dikatakan CEO Wilayah Bandung, Dhias Widiyati pada acara peresmian BNI, Rabu (06/02) di Jalan Cipeujeuh Wetan No.45 Kec. Lemahabang Kabupaten Cirebon.
Dhias menambahkan, Kantor Kas (KK) Sindang Laut merupakan kantor kas keempat dilingkungan KCU Cirebon setelah KK Pekalipan, KK Harjamukti dan KK Jatiwangi. Selanjutnya BNI memfasilitasi para pengusaha dan masyarakat Sindanglaut khususnya para nasabah untuk menjadi partner yang baik bagi masyarakat dan pemerintah daerah Kabupaten Cirebon. Mudah-mudahan dengan peresmian ini bisa ikut menggerakkan roda perekonomian di kawasan Sindanglaut dan sekitarnya.
Sementara Chapsul Taskandi sebagai nasabah BNI dari PT. PG Sindanglaut menyampaikan ucapan terima kasih karena keberadaan kantor kas ini sangat membantu bagi para petani tebu, baik dalam manajemen maupun dalam bidang pelayanan. Chapsul juga mengharapkan dengan dibukanya KK Sindanglaut mudah-mudahan dapat meningkatkan kerjasama BNI dengan para petani tebu selaku penopang dan penunjang kehidupan ekonomi di bidang agro industri khususnya dibidang pergulaan indonesia.
Sementara itu, Wabup H. Ason Sukasa, Sm.Hk mengatakan kegiatan ini sangat penting karena secara kualitas dengan diresmikannya gedung BNI ini merupakan kegiatan perbankan yang menjadi ikon sektor industri jasa yang berkembang pesat di Kabupaten Cirebon. Selain itu pula mampu meningkatkan sarana dan memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan pelayanan masyarakat disekitar sindang laut. H. Ason juga menambahkan dengan diresmikannya KK Sindanglaut diharapkan bidang ekonomi produktif di sekitarnya akan meningkat.
Usai sambutan, Wakil Bupati Cirebon melakukan pengguntingan pita sebagai tanda diresmikannya BNI Sindanglaut dan dilanjutkan dengan peninjauan ke dalam ruangan.
Sebelumnya sudah dilaksankan serangkaian acara yakni grebek pasar BNI In Action Yang diselenggarakan tgl. 29-30 januari 2013 di pasar Cipeujeuh dan Lemahabang, selanjutnya Kampanye BNI pada 31 Januari dan pengobatan gratis pada 3 Februari 2013 bekerjasama dengan Yayasan Tiar Family, di halaman kantor Kecamatan Lemahabang.
Kegiatan ini dihadiri Ferry Sinaga, pimpinan PT. Bank Negara Indonesia Kantor Cabang Cirebon, AKP. Yusuf Yudhie Saputra Kanit Polsek Lemahabang, Dwi Purnomo, Direktur Utama PT PG Rajawali II serta para tamu undangan lainnya.
